This two chamber Bat House, certified by Bat Conservation International, hand
crafted from Country Crafts of New Hampshire is made from 1" rough cut pine.
All joints are shipped lapped and caulked with a caulking adhesive for water
and air tightness.
20 year roof shingles are used and shingles are colored for your climate
zone, which keeps the Bat House dry and helps to maintain heat control.
Two inch deck screws are used as fasteners which will not rust or leave
rust streaks and give a nice strong joint. Each chamber wall is 3/4" wide and
made from 1/2" rough cut pine board,allowing bats to attach themselves to the
wall of the chamber.
The landing, constructed from 3/4" exterior plywood for added stability
extends 6" below the entrance. Approved netting is placed on the landing to
allow bats a sure footing to attach themselves in landing and take offs.
These Bat Houses are ready to mount. They have 2 coats of exterior stain
and are colored for the climate zone you live in. Each house comes with
mounting instructions and hardware.
This Bat house has been BCI Certified.
