BIRD FEEDERS
The Hummingbird is a tiny avian weighing 2 to 20 grams. They feed on nectar,
insects, and small spiders. They fly with a unique method of rotating the
entire wing, with little flexing of the wrist joints.
As a result of this
unique but inefficient means of flight, they must consume enormous amounts of
food each day, with nectar amounting to almost twice their body weight.
Insects provide their protein.
